How To Uninstall and Reinstall VPN on a Mac

1. After installing GlobalProtect and following the proper steps for setup, you may see an error screen like the one below:

2. To resolve this issue, you may have to uninstall and reinstall the software.  To do this, navigate to your Downloads folder and open GlobalProtect.pkg by double-clicking it.

You can find the global protech packge download on the VPN server 

NOTE: You may have to download the .pkg again if you've deleted it after installation.

3. Once opened, click Continue on the bottom right corner.

4. Select Uninstall GlobalProtect and then click Continue.

5. Click the Install button on the bottom right corner.

6. Once complete you should see a successful installation confirmation screen similar to below:

7. Click Close on the bottom right corner.

8. You will now have to re-install the software by opening the same GlobalProtect.pkg from before. 

9.This time, make sure GlobalProtect is selected in the Installation Type screen and click Continue on the bottom right corner.

10. Click Install and allow the installation to complete.  Once again you should see a message stating that The installation was successful.

11. Follow the instructions for setting up GlobalProtect from before, you should now have the ability to make a successful connection.
