New Student Worker Login
Your new student worker email/Office 365 login will be your first initial last name; For example, jdoe@colum.edu. To access your account go to: mail.colum.edu or http://portal.office.com
Your login for Office 365 will be jdoe@colum.edu. Once you enter your user name, then click next.
This is used to log you into Office365.
Next, your initial network password is a combination of information that only you would know: Upper case first initial of your first name + lower case first initial of your last name + your birthday in mmddyy format. For example, Jane Smith with a birth date of 01/01/1980 would have a password of Js010180.
Note: Before you can login and get started, you must first reset your initial network password. Please see our documentation on how to reset your password.
The following step is to update your password to your new account. Click “Submit”.
You can now log into your new account using your new password. Enter your login and new password.
Click “Sign in”
Follow the prompts. To recover your password using your phone, click on, “Set it up now”.

Enter your phone number and click “Text or Call me”.
To recover your password using your personal email address, click on “Set it up now”
Enter your email and click “Email me”.
To set up your Security Questions click on the, “Set them up now.” Click, “Finish” when you complete your password recovery option
Select your security questions 1, 2, & 3 and enter your answer for each one. Click “Save answers”.
You can now complete the process and start using!
