Registering for Email Self Service Password Reset
Note: Completing this feature allows you to reset your Columbia email passwords. Please make sure your account is registered through Microsoft. This guide will show you how to register your account through the Self-Service Password Manager tool.
1. Open up your web browser and go to https://aka.ms/ssprsetup/ where you will add your personal mobile phone, personal email and security questions by clicking each link that says ‘Set it up now’ as shown below.
2. When you are finished registering, you will see four new options on how you want to receive a verification code as you are going through the password reset process as shown below in the red square. As an example below, if you wish to have the code sent to your email, select Email my alternate email and click the Email link.
