Troubleshooting no video or microphone on the browser version of Microsoft Teams

Please see the following screenshots and steps for troubleshooting no video or microphone on the browser version of Teams:

  1. Using Google Chrome, navigate to the Teams website. Then select the Lock symbol in the URL bar.

  2. On the menu that appears, select “Site Settings”. This will open a new tab.

     

  3. On this new settings tab, the camera and microphone dropdowns will default to “Ask”. Select the dropdown for Camera and Microphone. These should be changed to “Allow”. You can then close this settings tab.

  4. In the original Teams site tab, there should be a “Reload” button under the URL bar. Select this button and allow the page to refresh. Chrome is now set to use your devices camera and microphone.
