4. From the menu that appears, select the option for “Panopto Video.”

5. Click on the drop-down menu and select your course’s assignment folder. It will be labeled “Your Course’s Name – Assignments.” This ensures your video is added to the proper place so it may be used in the course for submissions.

6. Click on the “Upload” option if you need to add a video from your computer to Panopto for your discussion post.

• Click “Launch Capture” to create your recording in your browser.

• Click “Launch App” to create your recording in the Panopto app.

• See the full guide available for additional details.

9. Once your video has been recorded or uploaded, click on the “Choose” option. Your Panopto videos will be listed here. This includes anything that you have recorded or uploaded to this course’s assignment folder.

10. Click on the video that you would like to submit with your discussion post and select “insert.”

11. You will now see your video embedded within the draft of your discussion response. Click “Post reply” to complete the submission of your discussion response. Your video will now be viewable to your classmates and instructor from within your discussion reply.
