How to Access PS on Your Android Phone for Faculty and Staff

In order to access PS Fluid from your Android phone, you will need to have Global Protect installed on your mobile device before going to https://hcm.colum.edu. If you need to install Global Protect please follow these instructions. Please note, you only need to use Global Protect if you are off campus.  If you are on campus you can use Columbia Wi-Fi to access.

Download Global Protect. Select Global Protect and click Install.

Click on the Global protect icon.

Enter trestle.colum.edu for the address.

Click Connect.

Enter your Email Address and Office 365 Password. Click Log On.

Click Ok.

You are now successfully connected to the VPN.

Now that you are logged into Global protect, you will need to navigate to your browser and go to  https://hcm.colum.edu.    

You will follow the prompts to log into your Office 365 account.

Enter your Username, and password and click Sign In.

Click on Send Me a Push.

Click Approve and close DUO window.

You are now successfully logged into PS Fluid Mobile.  Please note: you may have to navigate back to the browser after you have approved DUO.

After completing the steps above and still having issues accessing HCM you may need to clear your browser in the Chrome app, if needed follow these instructions.

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app.
  2. At the top right, tap More. History. ...
  3. Tap Clear browsing data.
  4. Next to "Time range:" To clear a portion of your history, select the dates. ...
  5. Check the box next to "Browsing history."
  6. Uncheck any other data you don't want to delete.
  7. Tap Clear data.
