To change your pronouns or gender identity in MyColumbia, navigate to the link in the MyProfile section.
On this page, you can choose to change your pronouns, gender identity, or both. These options are independent of each other and do not require you to select both pronouns and gender identity.
Clicking the dropdown to the right of “Select Pronouns” will allow you to choose from several options:
Similarly, clicking the dropdown to the right of “Select Gender Identity / Expression” will allow you to choose from several options:
Once you have made your selections, “Click to Update” will save them. Your pronoun selection will update in Canvas overnight.
You can change these selections at any time, and you can always choose “None Reported” if you wish to no longer share your pronouns and/or gender identity in the system.
