If a singer is designated in a meeting then moved to a breakout room are they still a singer when they return?

Tested and Yes When you add singers to Manage Singers they remain signers in break out rooms and when they return. It might be best to assign the signers to breakout rooms individually to make sure one goes to each rooms.
Can I delete or hide a message from Team Chat?
after some research only the user that posted the message can delete it.
Can I easily do private messages in a teams Chat?

If there is no outlook plugin can I still schedule meetings in outlook?
The teams calendar section makes meetings that add and invite people using a standard calenday email invite. YOu can also make teams meetings right in outlook no plugin is needed
Is there a way to set up a "class" profile for when we use this for teaching with all the security settings?
There is are some templates from Class, Professional Learning Community, Staff and Other. If you start with on of the templates and make changes to an empty team you can use the From another team to copy those setting to the the new team. So kind of

The Private View Button Stops the attendees from being able to click through the slides. Notice the presenter can also see the presenation view in teams
Teams for Classroom Engagement'
One of the first things I do about two weeks before class starts is to create the team and invite the class. I try to do this at at the same time the course is published in canvas. I usually start chatting in the Class well before the semester starts. Maybe welcome the students and provide some interesting meida posts about our subject or offer to answer any questions before class.
Since my courses also require some special software I post information about the software we will be using and the versions of the software that will be required. This ensures that students are ready for the course and there are no surprises on the first day.
- Creating a Team I just follow the regular class template
The Class Template creates a singular channel called General. Channels are similar to discussions forums they can help break up the different chat by topic or use case.
- Adding Teams to SharePoint Site/Group

You can see the home page in teams is that same as the home page in the sharepoint site. The same is true about the files section in teams. Its really the default document library in the sharepoint site.
- Adding team members manually
- To add team members manually I just add them one at a time from the canvas page if its a smaller class <20 or copy to an excel doc and use flow to automate if its a larger class
- adding members in team you can use the Add Member from the Teams Settings
This opens that Add Member Control similar to the one in Sharepoint. The main disadvantage here is that you need to search and add members on at a time
Adding class of 20 members usually takes about 5-10 mins. The issue is keeping it in sync as add drop happens and adding new members if the course students change.
There are two teams LTI integrations in Canvas that can help with this. I'll discuss later.
I have also uses PowerAutomake or Flow to import groups of students from an Excel spreadsheet getting the students into the spreadsheet is also an issue. I've done it two ways.
or better to use the CX couselist from jenzebar
this gives you an email with all the students in it then you can then make a spreadsheet and use flow to automate import. This may be harder than just adding them 1 by 1
I've made a spreadsheet in the past and used it with flow but since they added the CoPilot propts I couldn't get it to work again.

I've used OneNote before with a designated note taker for accommodation. The other students also loved the shared notes. It is possible to set up a private notebook if that is desired.
