Mersive Solstice Pod Instruction Guide for Laptop/Computer
The following screenshots detail the steps to use Mersive Solstice Pod with a Laptop/Computer.

On the main Solstice Pod screen you will see an IP address and four digit key number.

Make sure that your device is connected to the correct wireless network. In most cases this will be the Student network (faculty/staff can sign into the Student network using their regular username and password). If you see an IP address of 10.XX.XX.XX (where X is any number) then you will need to connect to the Faculty/Staff wireless network (students cannot log into the Faculty/Staff network).

On the computer that you would like to connect open an internet browser and type in the IP address of the solstice pod in the search bar, (in this format: http://XX.XX.XX.XX).

Select “Get the App & Join.”

The Solstice Client program should begin to download.

Once the program is downloaded you will need to install it. You will only need to install the software once in order to use any Solstice Pod on campus.

When the download is finished, the green button should switch to say “Launch and Join.” Select this.

A window will open asking if you want to open the program. Select “Open Solstice Client.”

You will now be prompted to enter the four-digit key located on the Solstice Pod screen. After entering the four-digit key, select OK.

You should now be connected to the Solstice Pod.

Select any of the three options to share content wirelessly to the group. More than one person can share content at a time.
