Connecting to Columbia’s Student Wi-Fi Network
This is the wireless network dedicated to Columbia students. The following screenshots detail the steps to connect to the network.
1. Select "Columbia Student" from the list of available networks
2. Next, click “Connect”.
3. Sign-in using your MyColumbiaID# and password then click, “OK”. For example:
User name: MyColumbiaID# (do not include @colum.edu) Password: Columbia (Office 365 password)
note: accounts before Nov, 2021 use MyColumbiaID as the user name after Nov 2021 accounts use LastName[00] numbers as needed.
Note: Enter the same username and password when logging onto Office 365.
4. Click Connect and you’ll now have access to the Internet.
5. You should be directed to the network. Please launch a web browser or open another tab within your opened web browser to access the internet!
