How to Connect to Columbia's FacStaff Wi-Fi on a PC

Connecting to Columbia’s Faculty/Staff Wi-Fi

This is the wireless network dedicated to Faculty/Staff. This network is accessed using your email username and password.  The following screenshots detail the steps to connect to the Columbia’s network.  

  1. Select “Columbia FacStaff” from the list of available wireless networks. Choosing to click “Connect automatically” is optional.

 

   2.  Next, you’ll be prompted to login with your email credentials.  This will be your email username and email password. Ex:  jcolumbia (do not add “@colum.edu”) following your email password, then click “OK”.

Note: If a prompt option does not automatically populate you can follow the steps forget and re-add the network.  

 

   3.  You will receive the following confirmation below. If you see this option, please select “Connect”

 

Note: If the login credentials are valid, you will be redirected to the internet.  If the credentials are not valid, you will be asked to enter your information again.

 

  1. You are now connected to the network and can access the internet!
