How to Apply a Change Request Workflow to a Ticket

Navigate to the ticket you would like to add the workflow to. Click on Actions.

Note: When submitting a request, remember to always include the date of when this will need to go into production, any rollback plan details, and if a communication will be sent to the Columbia College Chicago community.

Under Actions select Assign Workflow.

There are two options for the Change Request process 1) Change Request Workflow and 2) Emergency Change Workflow.  Select the one that applies to the ticket.

You have now successfully applied the workflow to your ticket.  The request will now be routed to your manager for approval.  Once the manager approves the request, it will be routed to CAB for review and approval at the next CAB meeting.

Please note:  The request will be sent to your manager for approval before it is sent to CAB for their review/approval. Emergency Change Request will be expedited to CAB through Teams to get approved.  These requests should only be for break fixes that cannot wait until next Monday morning's meeting.  Any requests that need to be reviewed on Monday need to be submitted on Friday by noon.
