Installing via the install button on horizon.colum.edu will not work as it will require admin access to install
The app will need to be installed via the Google Play Store, which should be located on the taskbar or by clicking the circle in the lower-left of the desktop to show all apps:
From the play store, search for “VMWare Horizon” (the app tends to be hard to find due to several apps using the name “horizon” but this search should display the correct app at the top of the list.
From there you should be able to install the Horizon client:
After launching the app, you will need to enter our server name “horizon.colum.edu,” and press ‘connect.’
Next you will need to enter your MyColumbiaID and password and make sure the ‘COLUM’ domain is selected:
Once logged in, you should be able to see all onsite virtual machines available to you:
