Known Issue : Omnissa Horizon Client connects and only shows a black window

Issue

The latest version of the Omnissa Horizon Client seems to have an issue connecting to our VM. When it connects it only shows a black windows even though the logs indicate the client is connected

Resolution

Change the connection settings to use AV1 encoding only

1. Open the settings panel in the client

Omnissa Settings

2. Uncheck H.264 and HEVC leave AV1 checked

Horizon Blast uncheck
