Install Horizon View for VDI access on ChomeOS Chromebook

Go to

https://horizon.colum.edu if you are off campus

or

https://mypc.colum.edu if you are on campus

Select Insatll Horizon View Client

On the next page verify that you trying to install “Horizon Client for Chrome OS” and click “Add to Chrome

 Click Add App to Chrome

After you add the app you can launch the Horizon View client

You should also see the app in the applications list:

 

After launching Horizon Client, you will need to enter the connection information.  Enter the server name, horizon.colum.edu, and click Connect:

You will now be prompted to enter your log-in credentials. Enter your MyColumbiaID and password, choose the correct domain (COLUM) and click Connect:

Once logged in you will see a list of machines you can use (your view will differ from what is below).  Click on the machine you would like to use:

This will start a session with the VDI you are using.  Once finished, log out of the computer.  To exit Horizon client, you can disconnect by hitting the "plug" icon:
