Access to the Network, Servers or Buildings

Services include Network Services, VPN Change Requests, WiFi, File Storage and Sharing, and Lenel updates to access campus buildings.

Business Applications, Data & Reporting

Services include a variety of computing resources for applications and software developments (including 3rd Party Apps like WebCheckout, EMS, Bookings, Course Eval, & Qualtrics), Feith, Integrations & Data, PeopleSoft (Oracle support, Payroll, etc.), Reporting Analytics, and Student Information Systems (MyColumbia, formerly Oasis). The activities associated with configuring databases to support applications and various departments. This also includes Change Management forms for standard and emergency requests.

Academic Technology

Academic Technologies assists you with Canvas, Classroom Computer/IT Support, Software Support, Audio/Video Conferencing, Projector and Audio Issues, Purchase Equipment for New or existing Space, Classroom technology training, Computer Lab at 1104 S. Wabash, AV in Meeting Spaces, Wireless Presentation Technology, and Event AV Setup.

Information Security

The Information Security Office provides essential resources to help the college community protect institutional and personal data. The Columbia College Chicago Information Security team strives for a safe and secure information technology environment across the college.

Technology Support

Provides technical assistance for students, faculty, and staff with various IT-related issues. These include application account support, DUO, Office365 support, technology recycling, telephony (includes eFax), and WiFI assistance.
